Birthday, Continued

The Three Musketeers went out to dinner at Johnny Carino's last night. Karen brought Phase 10- my favorite game. I kicked their butts! Good thing, since it was my birthday. I got the bread machine I asked for- right out of Andreena's kitchen. And some bread machine flour and yeast, and a bread mix. Karen also gave me a picture for my dining room and some smelly hand stuff.

Karen had to go after dinner so Andreena and I went to see Made of Honor. It was cute- and predictable. And cute- Patrick Dempsey cute.

I guess that brings an end to my reign as Birthday Queenie. Until next year.

Oh, Debbie, my sisters and I are almost brutal in our competitionat this game. When ever someone says "Phase 10" at any family gathering, 3 or 4 games magically apear out of thin air. It's almost a race to see who can get thier game out first. And Skip-bo. I also rock at that one.

Now I want to go see that movie and find that game. I have never played it. Kathi

I've never played Phase 10 but I'm itching to learn.

And this song--"Time of My Life"--is STILL one of the best. It takes me back to being 13 and watching the movie in the theater and thinking I was BIG STUFF because I was finally a teenager. Sigh...the memories...

Looking at us I started to think of some good jokes that start with; "a blonde, brunette and a redhead..."

Happy Birthday! (I came over via the SITS site) I have a bread machine that I have not used in forever...might need to haul that out of the closet this week and see what I can cook up...

(By the way, it should be illegal for blogger word verification to have a v and a w right next to each other! I have lost count of how many times I have had to type it in!)
