Jonah is 4 now.
His dad says that when you are 4 you are big- and you don't sleep with your mom and dad anymore...We'll see....
There were 32 people in our house last night. Thank goodness for the new kitchen, because that is where everyone always wants to be.
The anatomy of a meltdown:
Thank goodness for grandmas!

Those are great pictures!!!
So...what caused the melt down? Just too much stimulation?? Cause that is a lot of people! But man oh man...those cupcakes look delish!
So cute!!!! I would love to know all you did for the monkey theme... I might want to use that for Eli... love it. And Grandma's are great aren't they!!!
Julie, the cupcakes were chocolate- of course- with chocolate frosting. The muzzles sere Nilla Wafers, the ears were Jr. Mints, and the rest was frosting. The treat bags I made myself with scrap book paper and they had monkey stickers, Curious George fruit snacks, and a foam monkey craft inside. I also made the pinata myself. It was my husband's genious idea to hang the bananas from the lights.
To carry the theme further, we got him the Curious George movie and a $5 gift card to Target- with monkeys on it of course- in addition to the easle his dad made him and the smock with pockets that I whipped out of a pillow case...
That looks like a great party!!
That monkey theme is adorable!
Happy Birthday to your big boy. Hey, my daughter stopped sneaking in our bed sometime between 4 and 5 years old. It was almost instant...and I was thankful!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Birthday Jonah!!
We love and miss you and would like to request that you stop growing NOW!
