Speaking Of Expectations

This yumminess was brought to the table by my very capable 12 year old.
He used this recipe- mostly.
I did not help in any way.
That is why we had dinner at 9pm.
But, it sure was good. And, by that time, it tasted even better because we were all so hungry.
We all decided that we did not like the bok choy because it was too bitter. The next time we do it, we will use spinach.

Good job 12 year old grandson. If you come down tomorrow, you can cook for Pop's and I.

You inspire me to keep teaching my kids. Just think, in 5 more years maybe someone will bring me something that looks that good!

He's going to sweep some girl off his feet with that cooking some day. I'm impressed. I've never made Bok Choy!

Wow! That's impressive. I belong to a produce co-op. We never know what we'll get, only that it's 6 veggies and 6 fruits each week. Last time we got 16 heads of bok choy....I kid you not. 16 heads!! The guinea pig ate a few, we tried to eat one, but you're right it is bitter. So the rest went to the dump.
