I have this problem. I hate to make lunch. Seriously. What do you folks eat? I made a grilled cheese for lunch today, and half of it is still sitting on my desk- wishing itself into a Jack in the Box chicken sandwich. *sigh*
My better behaved self tells my spender that we need to eat at home, but we just can't seem to like anything in our fridge at lunch time.
HELP!!!

Both my hubby and I eat a lean cuisine or a smart one...not too caloric, nutritionally balanced and usually yummy. I watch for them to go on sale, and it costs less than my hubby buying lunch.
we have been making smoothies here, the kids love them and I even put in veggies, they don't know. But I am with you, I get so bored with lunches. I think once it gets cooler I am going to be experimenting with soups!
LOLLL!!!! I'm not kidding, I could have written this post. I complain to my friend all the time about how much I hate lunch! I abhor making sandwiches because I hate getting out ALL the stuff to make them. Lunch is the worst, so I hope you get LOTS of ideas on here that I can use. Sometimes if I'm feeling really ambitious I'll fry up and egg and have a fried egg sammi, but that's as gourmet as I get.
My kids usually want a "parfait". Yogurt with fruit and granola. Muffins. Apples or bananas dipped in peanut butter.
I usually have a salad (I go on kicks where I make myself eat this everyday....then of course I get sick of it:) or most often a smoothie. My fav is frozen bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, milk and yogurt.
Good luck. And from a girl who can't eat bread....I'd scarf up every last piece of that cold grilled cheese!
I've been making myself make a sandwich lately. Ham, swiss, tomato on whole wheat bread. Today I had it with Sun Chips. If I don't do that then I end up snacking which is usually just junk food.
Don't forget to take a break:)
Dr. Pepper and potato chips.....
that was lunch today.
Nice huh?
Now would you please get on with the next story of your life, cuz I have a feeling I am going to laugh VERY hard!
Lunch is hard for me too. Packing lunches is easier than having to come up with something at home.
