Busy, Busy, Busy, Part 3

Dateline: Saturday, June 20th
Time: 9pm
Event: Haircuts

Karen, the afore mentioned wonderful friend, cut the girls hair. It has been long promised that as soon as the girls were done with the recital, they could cut their hair- but only if they cut enough to donate to locks of love. So, right after the party, the girls got their much anticipated haircuts, and some little girl somewhere will get a wig and a morale boost as she goes through her treatment.

YAY! Just wonderful news!

My daughter and I will be doing the same thing if she decides to cut her hair this summer. She just recently started talking about wanting to (she's 5) and I told my hubby that if she did it then we could do it together and donate all at once since we both have long enough hair. One of my very young students did this about 7 years ago and I haven't been able to stop being moved every time I hear of someone else doing it.

Great post!!!!

So great! And they look so cute with their cute short do's. My Alyssa just got her thank you from Locks of Love. I think it is such a neat thing for little girls to do.

First of all, your girls are sooo cute! Second, love the new hair cuts! I want my daughter to cut her hair SO BADLY but she refuses to do it. Maybe if I go the Locks of Love route she will change her mind! I love short hair on little girls (especially in the summer!)
