Today we had a repeat of last year's trip to Karen's hot tub.
I didn't take any pictures today, so just look at last year's pictures. All the kids look the same, they're just a little taller.
Karen proceded to tromp me at Phase 10. I don't lose well. So, after pizza I had a chance to redeem myself when Both Karen and her husband wanted to play a round. I lost. Again. I'm glad I didn't buy any Lotto tickets today.
Before we left the house I made the kids help me clean all 3 bedrooms which included stripping, washing, and remaking the beds- among other gross jobs.

Free and Cheap-- my mantra also. I need to spring clean, even though it's only like 35 degrees and I don't feel like it's spring. We are on break too, but the boys have track practice each day from 10-noon.
ReplyDeleteI like Phase 10 too. My favorite card game is either Hand and Foot or Shanghai Rum. They take a long time to play though so I don't get to play too much.
I've beat you at phase 10 a few times,(lost more) You get mean! I still like to play with you though!Especially when we have O'Mara's! Good quality sister time!
ReplyDeleteSounds like our spring break. My kids declared it the worst evah as I forced them to try on all of their clothes while we cleaned closets!
